I almost forgot..remember him, Mr. Doo doo Brown?
Although Luke Campbell, who may be more familiar to us as “Uncle Luke,” fell short in the race for Miami mayor; his campaign committee is hopeful for the future. At a gathering months ago, Campbell and wife Kristin addressed a crowd about upcoming plans.
This was my first encounter with Campbell and I didn’t waste time capturing the first picture of the night! I’ll admit, I was timid. But come on! He’s the pioneer of booty shaking music.. and the guy whose music my mom wouldn’t approve; so it was awkward at first.
A few times, we crossed paths and Campbell looked my way almost as if he was giving me picture perfect opportunities but I was just too shy to take the lead :( Anyway, he still posed.
And contrary to his booty-shaking music, Campbell seems very respectful and appears to be a gentleman. Upon arriving, he immediately assisted Kristin with their baby son, opening the door for her and even chatting with them inside the venue.
I’m looking forward to interviewing him in the future.
